NFL Week 13: Skins Look to Hand NYG 2nd Loss

New York Giants 10-1 vs Washington Redskins 7-4
The Giants are 10-1 so far this season and are believed by most to be the NFL's premiere team. Eli Manning has not had to dazzle, but he has certainly got the job done. The story of the Giants has been their fantastic running game made up of Brandon Jacobs, Derrick Ward, and Ahmad Bradshaw. Their defense has been fantastic lead by DE Justin Tuck. NY is banged up this week however as Jacobs and Bradshaw are questionable, while WR Plaxic! o Burress has been ruled out. RB Clinton Portis of the Redskins is an MVP candidate and the Redskins need a win to keep pace with the Cowboys in the wildcard race. The Giants are on their fourth straight road game and I think they struggle. Washington is the pick.

New England Patriots 7-4 vs Pittsburgh Steelers 8-3
A huge AFC matchup this week in Gillette Stadium. Matt Cassel and the seemingly back to prom! inence Patriots can put themselves in very good position in th! e playof f hunt with an upset victory over Pittsburgh. Pitt has a stifling run defense, so this game is all on Cassel. The Steelers offense is banged up so do not expect a high scoring affair. I look for Cassel to continue to improve his resume and lead NE to a victory in the low 20s. Expect this game to go right down to the wire, but the Patriots are the upset pick.

Atlanta Falcons 7-4 vs San Diego Chargers 4-7
San Diego may be facing a mus! t win to remain in contention for the AFC West crown, while RB Michael Turner looks to prove to his old team what he can do. Atlanta must win as well to remain in the NFC wildcard hunt with Dallas, Washington, and Carolina. I look for Turner to have a monster day, but the game is in SD and the Chargers need a win. I think Norv Turner rallies his troops and puts together a solid home win. Plus, Atlanta is not a very good road team. The Chargers get my pick.
